He's always mad at me for liking rap and some rock. We're not dating but I like him. I am going to tell him what is my fav. song and it actually has a small part with screamo so maybe that will make it better! :) But i still don't know. Anyways the song is Face Down by The Red Jumpsuit Appartus. Omg I love that song sooooo much!!!!!!! I LOVE THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARTUS!!!!!!!!!! WHOO-HOO!!!!!! So what should I do with this guy???? I've known him for four years and I'm starting to like him more than a friend...His fav. song is by Avenged Sevenfold and I absolutely dislike screamo ( no offense to the ppl who like it ). But I do like Rock/Rap!!! :)

you don't have to like exactly the same music. my boyfriend likes different music and many of my exes didn't. as long as your life doesn't revolve around your music (if either of you are a dj you might want to find someone else) you can find other things to do. getting there in the car might be a adventure though lol...me and my boyfriend constantly change each others channells.

Of course. Different tastes in music isn't gonna stop you guys from liking each other. Sure, it's nice to find someone you like with the same music taste but it's not going to always happen.

in view that Nirvana became already stated (who spawned the Puddle of Mudd sound, no longer emo -- which became Weezer and on the stress-In), i visit assert Radiohead. some very crappy bands point out Radiohead and perform a little crappy imitations (and no, i do no longer mean Coldplay -- they do no longer sound like Radiohead!). the fad I hate is the reality that bands think of that via only doing somewhat digital artwork they are able to place in writing a clean youngster A, yet youngster A is so plenty extra complicated than that.

You don't have to like the same music, but you do need to have some things in common.
Think of it this way: if you get together, there are plenty of artist crossovers. You can find them and make your own sweet music. :D

i dont think music should make or break a relationship, just if you do go out agree not to go to a concert or alternate music, but if you like him go for it
