6 1/2" speakers in the front and rear doors, and 4x6" speakers on the dash, are the correct sizes. However, if you're planning to replace them all, you need to know that GM typically used 10-ohm speakers in these vehicles. The dash speakers are wired together with the door speakers, so if you replace both sets with after-market 4-ohm speakers, you'll end up with a 2-ohm load for your head unit. Most head units can't handle an impedance that low.
Some options are 1) Replace only the door speakers or dash speakers, not both, as most new head units can tolerate a combined 4-ohm and 10-ohm load; 2) Add a separate amplifier to run one or more of the speaker pairs.

6.5 in the doors both front and back and if you have them in the dash they are 4x 6's
