Dear Readers,
Does anyone else agree about the following things? Now, don't get me wrong, I am fine with legal immigrants but am sick of all of the crap our countries going through because of the illegal ones!

I am very tired of all the Spanish writting, spoken Spanish, people teaching their kids Spanish before English, Dirty diapers in parking lots, Immigration protests, and hearing about how another greasy Mexican National broke the law here in my country. It just gets old!

The truth is, that a LOT of Mexicans here in California HURT more than they help; yet political figures don't do a Goddamned thing about it... We sit and wait to here about something improving, but it never comes and it never will.
They are here to stay and will continue to drain every state of it's municipalities.

Why do true Americans have it so hard? Why do Mexicans get loans easier when WE pay the taxes? What ever Happened to white virtous America?

We can stop it if we start penalizing businesses that give them jobs. If there are no jobs, they will not come...

I am mexican and i dont get loans easy. Why are you only pointing this out to spanish immigrants. You know there are such thing as irish immigrants all kinds. So you should be talking to all immigrants not only spanish. If they hurt California so much then tell the President. Greasy Mexican? How dare you. Thats just messed up.

Solve the immigration delimma. First, detemine why thier coming over and leaving Mexico in drones. Second, look at NAFTA trade treaty to see if certian policies is driving immigration. Longer term labor markets in Mexico will absorb more of thier own once the economy grows to a certian point. Immigration system in USA is unrealistic for labor needs, and abolished the green card lottery, and sell work visas according to age, education, work experience, location, english ability.
The younger or more educated you are the lower the price, and exclusions would be felons people with less than 9th grade educations. Prices for a Phd in demand $3000 dollars, and Master or Bacholar degrees $10,000, and HS diploma and Associate degree $20,000. People less than 9th grade education $100,000 or sponsor by a employer. Get 50% return of the fees if you do not drain taxpayers, and do not commit crimes. Exceptions would be highly skilled people that are rare to find in the marketplace. The visa would be temporary in nature, but after proving your not freeloader after 5 years, and permanant visa would be offered and social security benefits would be eliglbe for. Why not profit off it instead.

I agree with you; illegal immigrants don't belong here.

But as a proud Hispanic, citizen (family and i both born and raised here) I am offended that you associate dirty diapers in the parking lot with Spanish culture. Think before you follow and believe such harsh stereotypes for such a large group of people.

And honestly, your whole "white virtuous America" is a fantasyland. Even if we didn't have any illegal immigrants here, America would not be a white country. Maybe your racist, or maybe your not. But the way you wrote your "question" is the reason why that word is thrown around this forum so much. I am against illegal immigrants, and I am also against hateful people.

I agree with you on this one. There is nothing wrong with legal immigration. That is what this country was founded on and we all have ancestors from other countries.
but what is happening now is ridiculous and something needs to be done. illegal immigrants are ruining our society. It doesn't seem right to me that us citizens are expected to work, pay taxes, work their way up the ladder, and basically support others with all of the social programs we have out there. But for an illegal, they can come in and get free health care, credit cards, homes, things spoken and written for them in Spanish (or wherever they are from). Then if you look at all of the problems which are in this country, it all boils down to the illegal aliens. health care, our prisons, medicare, taxes, and other things are all in disarray right now due to the illegals. We could solve the problems of the country tomorrow if all illegals were gone. The prisons would have room, social programs could run effectively on less money, and we could all feel good about being Americans. But i know this can't happen, but we should start the process or we are all in for a big surprise down the road..

#1 Secure the Border

Send troops down there, that is the surefire way to end the illegal immigration problem. This is not an unsolvable situation, troops will work! A wall is not really necessary, but it couldn't hurt.

#2 Make an orderly process to grant citizenship to the illegals in the country.

I know some people want to deport them all and some people want blanket amnesty, but those are not good solution. There are 12 million illegals in our country. I say, give them 6 months to register with the government and let the government choose who gets to stay. Then, make it a felony to be an illegal immigrant and put any illegals that are found into jail.

#3 Establish a guest worker program to meet needs for labor. Americans must be given priority for the jobs and companies must prove that Americans could not be found to do the jobs.

That is the solution.

I am soooooo tired of all of them and the problems they cause.
#1 Border Fences, electrified. Guarded by the National Guard with big guns and full rights to use them. Land-mines are good as long as you put up signs that say don't go near the fence or you will DIE.
#2 Shoot Bush and his amigos (Let's take our country back)
#3 Slowly but surely starting in the far NE we line up more National Guard and Minuteman and slowly herd these people toward the Mexican border.
#4 Threaten to drop a bomb right on the Mexican Presidents head if anymore of his people come here ILLEGALLY.
#5 Business owners, etc. and others who help them should be jailed, there businesses sold with the money going to the American poor.
#6 No more services. Period
#7 Make them pay all the money back that we spent on them or shoot them. Why put them in prison when we have to support them their too?

I could think of more...believe me.

We must make America inhospitable to illegals. Require a declaration of identity/citizenship when applying for any form of public assistance, emergency room service, whatever. I'm not saying deny the illegals ER service, but dispatch an ICE officer to the hospital and escort them to a detention facility then back to Mexico once service has been rendered. Yes, it will be costly in the short term, but I figure the break even point is something like three months, four tops.

My boyfriend actually had to write a college paper on a similar subject. He wrote his paper on why other cultures should be forced to learn english. Like when you call some place and you have to press 1 for english and 2 for spanish. Or if you on a different side of town and no one there speaks english.
And how the lower class is made up of mostly spanish speaking and other language speaking people. And that most of them could get good/ better jobs if they learned english.

Now I am half hispanic and my opinion is that anyone from another country should learn english if they would like to stay here. Just like I think you should have to learn german if you move to germany cause they would be mad at you for not speaking thier language.

The new Democrat Congress, is poised to grant amnesty to millions already here and grant full citizen benefits to them and their families, making the estimated numbers grossly underestimated. The bill will be presented soon, as it is a priority of the Democrat Congress, led by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Reports are that the previous Senate bill [S 2611] is being warmed over and is even worse than the original. All illegal aliens would be eligible to gain citizenship. Once they become citizens, it also allows them to bring in parents and other relatives, by the millions. U.S. taxpayers would be forced to fund a massive welfare system... The massive tax burden would include payment for medical care for out-of-wedlock births, K-12 education, subsidized school lunches, unemployment compensation, and in-state tuition which is denied citizens of 49 states. They will be considered minorities and will receive admission to colleges and universities operating under our too-prevalent affirmative action policies. Another giveaway would be the Unearned Income Tax Credit, whereby low wage earners who make too little money to pay taxes nonetheless receive a sort of "refund" check, thanks to taxpayers who do pay taxes. Social Security Director Joann Barnhart in July 2004 signed the U.S.-Mexico Totalization Treaty and built a Social Security Administration building in Mexico. Perhaps the most outrageous stipulation in S 2611 was that before we build any barrier on the border we must have permission from Mexico. How stop taking orders from Mexico

I was right with you unitl the "white" part - we whites are not the only virtuous Americans...

In my area, I have actually noticed that race problems between white and black (and other groups) have become almost non-existent, due to the need to stick together as English speakers. Honest. Its a really interesting thing to see. I guess its the one silver lining I've been able to find...
