Me and my husband would like to eat healthier portions. We don't eat fast foods or any junk food, it's just that we eat big portions. I'm sleder, I don't need a diet (I don't believe in diets, you have to eat everything that's in the food pyramid but smaller portions, we do need to eat some sweets and fat.), my husband is over 6 feet tall and over 200lbs, he's built like a fridge (haha) and all the fat he's got is in his belly, like a beer belly. From the back he looks like a body builder but from the front looks like he loves my food. Anyway, where could I find online how to calculate portions or servings by our weight, and height? Let me know! Thanks! To good health! **ding***

Use the tools here. You'll be an expert in nutrition in no time.

Use the tools first you must calculate your IDEAL BODYWEIGHT use nutrientfacts or For men and For women below.....find out how many calories you need.....read the food labels on how many calories per serving and adjust to suit your daily caloric needs. I use a measuring cup to measure my vegetables(1/2 cup of frozen veggies is 1 serving and about 70 calories) 1 medium chicken breast is 1 serving(about 100 grams and about 80 calories), a serving of cheese is the size of your thumb and is 100 calories(that shocked my sister, cheese eater), 250mls of 0% fat skim milk is 90 calories(regular homogenized milk is 200 calories!!), 1 cup of fresh veggies is 1 serving, 1 slice of bread is a serving and is very fattening, 1/2 a bagel is 1 serving and is also very fattening, 1/2 cup of prepared rice is 1 serving and about 110 calories, 2 large whole eggs is a serving and 180 calories,

This can be a challenge at first, but it gets a lot easier over time. When I first started counting calories, I used a measuring cup and kitchen scale (I got both of these at the $1 store). Now I know that my plate full of pasta is 500 calories. I know that a piece of chicken the size of my palm is about 200 calories, and I know that water is the only worthwhile drink out there (I still like soda...I just cut way back). I hope that helps. Check out the data tables below for some more calorie info. Best of luck to you guys!

I believe that they may have the info you are wanting. And they also have a special right now I think where you can join the online program for a week free. Also, any yahoo or google search for diet servings will probably come up with the answer. Good luck!!
