highschool guys that like you drop what kind of hints?

i am in high school but not sure if this guy likes me or not he tries bringing up allot of conversations about school and he sits by me in math class but i am too shy to look at his face but i do talk back to him just shyly today he asked me this ? about if we has to turn in our hw and i said yeah and thats all it was kinda weird that he did not start of a conversation today so when the teacher handed our test back i looked at him and said wow i actually did good on this and he said let me see at the mistakes you made then said not bad today there was no conversation so i am confused does he like me or not i have the feeling that he does but not completlt sure i would put in more details but too tired ill just add them on tommorow

High school interaction between the sexes is...almost not worth the effort if you don't wanna waste your time. If he is mature and does want to get know you, he will continue to hang around and make himself known. Speaking to him regularly like sayin' "hi" :o) might make it easier for him to open up if that is indeed what he wants.
