Okay, I have a program, I start it, and it says can not run .......... But, I right click it in the taskbar and I can use everything on it. But when I click ok on the popup that comes up when I run the program, it shuts down the program.

Is there a program or some way I can ignore it, hide it etc?

Please help.

Thanks

Okay, the prgram is LanSchool and my trial ran out way too early. So a popup bar comes up saying register. I want Windows to ignore that so that it will make it disappear and I will be able to use the program because when the message is up, I right click the icon and it does work. I guess I will just let the popupbar up when I want to use LanSchool?

If there is a soultion post it as an answer.

This May and May Not help you.
I have 'Reset a few items that have a Drop-Dead-Date'.

Fully " Delete " your program. Then run ' Search " to find more of the program and delete that also ( this stuff with Drop-Dead-Dates are sneaky ). After you are totally certain the program is ' Gone '.
Go to ' Search ' ( again ), Files & folders,
Type this in ( PREFETCH ), once you find and open PREFETCH, look for any thing that 'looks like' any thing that was in that progran.
Delete it.
Shut down & restart your computer and do a search again, (like I said, this Drop-Dead stuff is sneaky ), if you find any more, Delete it, Shutdown & restart again.
Do this till you are certon it is completely gone.
Attempt to reinstall your program. If this works.
It should give you a 'New Trial Period'.
If this does not work, if you really want the program, you will have to get a 'Full Version'.

Good Luck.

Sounds like that horrible virus I ran into when I was updating my friends laptop. It's almost impossible to remove. I found a solution from "the tech guy" but it was 8 pages long when I printed it out and it was more technical than I like to get but they did have a free program to use but it wasn't for the "nontechnical". Plus you'll need another computer to look it up and download it since yours won't. Does your desktop icons and stuff disappear sporadically? That was a symptom of this virus. Hope this helps and good luck.
