Yep. I have had friends that freaked when I divulged that I was pagan. My best friend's fiance literally tripped out! It was a straight out temper tantrum when he learned I was pagan. I was actually scared. Ah, well, they couldn't really have been friends if they had issues. I have made so many friends through my religion that are accepting and tolerant of everyone, I don't miss those that have gone.

i have always been really interested in spirituality and i love to hear other peoples ideas on the subject. i guess i have pretty much attracted the same type of people, so we all usually know what we we are getting into. that would be more likely a reason for me to initiate a friendship as long as the person was interesting and open minded - i wouldn't start a friendship with someone that pushed their beliefs on me or put me down for what i believed, but because of my personality, this is something i would make sure i knew abut a person before we had a friendship to end.

Yes. I had 5 or 6 friends from college that I kept in touch with after we graduated. When I got saved and shared my faith, they stopped talking to me.

Yes. When I was born again, my best friend didn't seem to want to be friends anymore. She said I was a fanatic. This hurt my feelings. I still wonder today where she is and how she is doing.

Yes, I have. A long friendship ended over theology and Biblical beliefs. And it was not by my choice. Maybe it was... my God or my friend.

Yes, and family members also thought I was nuts. That's why Jesus says to persevere. (My family is starting to soften up a bit, and one or two friends are starting to ask me about my faith.).

yes. as long as its just sharing in a respectful manner and not imposing your values to others, and if they are really your friends, they should accept your beliefs even if they dun agree with it. thats basic courtesy, to respect others values even if you dun agree with it.
