Can i put the windows standard buttons on the taskbar?

can i put the windows standard buttons on the taskbar like on a mac without having to pay for it

I don't know Macs but I'm wondering if you mean you want shortcut buttons to MS programs on the Taskbar.

I created shortcuts to Word and Excel, then dragged the shortcuts to the Taskbar. Sometimes to get them on the Taskbar you have to Alt-drag.

Is this what you meant?
