South Park, Family Guy, Aqua Teen, Futurama, Moral Orel, the Simpsons, Robot Chicken, King of the hill, Televsion better said. They seldom if ever mock any other religion. These are shows that I enjoy until I see them make fun of god or Jesus. Also, random people (here on yahoo) saying that Jesus was a hippie and other stupid stuff. If you don't agree with this religion or any other then don't; but don't mock and laugh at it.

I agree! It's offensive and not funny at all when the Lords Name is used in vain.
It's Satan's cunningness-Great question! I oppose such humor 100% percent.
True comedy is something that is funny without being offensive to someone or something else.
There is no humor in speaking of the Lord in these ways and I assure you God does not approve of it.
It's easier for some to please others in the "ways of man" rather then being obedient to God's ways

Ah, the irony. Most of the people on here mock Christianity for two reasons:
1) It's the majority religion, so it's supposed to be okay to do so. Like how it's okay to make fun of white people, but any non-blacks saying the "N-word" involves them getting beaten half to death.
2) The vast majority of Christians are entirely intolerant of others' religions. Basically, if Christians stopped being assholes to non-Christians, non-Christians would have no real reason to mock Christianity.
Personally, I don't see what the big deal is. I get downvoted all the time for apparently no other reason than that I'm not a Christian. I don't complain about it, I've given my point of view and I don't give a rat's *** what anyone else thinks about it. ^_^

Here's the thing. Not too many people actually hate christianity at all. It's that christianity seems to want to convert people as it's main goal while other religions seek to teach. It also doesn't help when many(note: I didn't say all) of it's followers tell people of other beliefs that they are going to hell for not accepting jesus.
Let me add arrogance to the list: after reading some of the responses people are claiming is because we can't see jesus in our hearts. That is very arrogant in their part as they are implaying that for some reason or another they are superior to us. They somehow have something we don't have that let's them see the "truth". Extremely brash and arrogant in my opinion.

They have the right to say what they want under the 1st Amendment. We have the right to turn the channel if we don't like what we see. Personally, it doesn't bother me, even though I do believe in God. I know that it's not an ideological attack, but rather an attempt at humor. Life's too short to be sensitive about these things. If you don't like these shows, simply don't watch them in case you might see something offensive; that's my advice.

I believe people mock Jesus because
1) They do not understand what He has done for them.
2) They are scared of truth.
3) Truth is not cool.
Think about it....if they understood what He did for us by dying and raising again then He would get the respect He deserves. They are also scared that by seeing the truth that they find that they are sinful and wrong and let's face it it's never cool to be wrong.

Theyre not mocking Jesus per se hon.
They have no idea what Jesus was like.
Theyre mocking the image of Jesus that people create in church teachings. Theyre mocking the blind faith.

People are very ignorant. They say that believers dont 'really know' if Jesus is real... but believers rely on faith. They say that He is not real and have no proof of this themselves.
I'd much rather live as if there was a God, to die and find out there is not... rather than to live as if there is not, to die and find out there is... ya know?!?!?

cos the bible makes a mockery of God and its messangers, and the Gospel writers brings down the majesty of God to to a lower function of animal nature.
Also the scribes of the Bible depicts its leaders ie prophets as murderers, rapist and blood thirsty race of people, how many tribes of people has Moses, David, Soloman etc. destroyed.
Read the Bible or any book that says its from God with a open mind, and not with prejudged ideas.

Christianity is false, and there are a lot of poorly-behaved and/or ignorant people in places of high power in Christianity.
The same is true of Islam.
And probably quite a few other religions.
And most of the new age movement.
And Hollywood. And talk radio. And the NBA.
