I always think that when people say they are in love, its only because they have no other word to use besides love and what is really interesting is that the English language limits (at least that is what I think) how to describe love. It is practically like the next step after I "like" you and that really puts a drag on true real love. I just think true love is like indescribable :)

Love is shared admiration between two people, where both are willing to compromise their own goals and desires for the sake of the other's.
True love is even stronger. The way to test true love is to seperate yourself from whoever it is that you think is you're true love. If you find you cannot live without said lover, it is true love. If you can get by without said person, then it is not.

I dont believe it is all wonderful. There's times that love is painful like when you can't be together, but because your in love you just look forward to the next time you get to see each other. Or the many times when your in love that you have to give and take. Love is patient and kind and understanding through all things.

To me real love is being with someone who I can share EVERYTHING with, including the bad times. My best friend is my husband. We have trust, comunication, understanding, and compasion. without these, expecially trust you have nothing. I didn't fall in love until I was 35, I was beginning to give up, because i wasn't willing to settle for less than what I wanted. It was worth the wait.

It is putting your life on the line for someone else. Love is a give/share relationship. You both have to give 100% and be committed to each other. It is honestly, completely being devoted to your special someone.
