Where and how they should be disposed of depends on lots of things including the molecular form of the heavy metal being disposed of and the facilities available.

In many instances (like for the lead in lead acid batteries), it is often economical to recycle the material back into new products.

Safe disposal is not a problem if we are willing to pay for it. Remember, all those metals came out of the ground in the first place.

we need to recycle them. remember most are natural and are found on the surface of earth. Ned to keep them out of our drinking water
