well one of my fav. shayer is Sudarshan Faakir. I love his shayris so true with the reality of the world. For example read this ghazal...
aadamii aadamii ko kyaa degaa
jo bhii degaa vahii Khudaa degaa
meraa qaatil hii meraa munsib hai
kyaa mere haq mein faisalaa degaa
zindagii ko qariib se dekho
isakaa cheharaa tumhen rulaa degaa
hamase puuchho dostii kaa silaa
dushmanon kaa bhii dil hilaa degaa
ishq kaa zahar pii liyaa "Faakir"
ab masiihaa bhii kyaa davaa degaa

'MIRZA GHALIB'- THE POEMS FROM HIM GOT TASTE OF WINE AND SWEETNESS OF HONEY IN THEM.
'OMAR KHAYYAM'S POETRY IS ALSO SOMEWHAT SIMILAR BUT EXPRESS THE FEELING OF ALOOFNESS IN THEM.
