They say the the 10 commandments were taken from the 42 laws of MAAT. I do not want to argue that point here I want to ask what you think is a stronger philosophy - I Shall Not or I Have Not? When you are standing in front of God on Judgment Day are you going to say I Shall Not or I Have Not (with confidence)? Seems like I shall not leaves room fr error. I Have not is straight forward with no room for deception! What do you think?

Again, it was all plagierzed. The effect in the statement speaks for itself but the mind of te religous won't grasp the difference unless they are truly sincere.

The problem you would have is, after a genuine and true examination of conscience, we have in some form broken all of the 10 Commandments. So your "I have not" is not valid. This is the whole reason Jesus Christ came. Because we needed mercy because we are unable to keep the law.

ah grasshopper

you struggle with things that do not matter
the 10 commandments were never seen as rules to follow
they were meant as a testamony to show that we could not follow after a Holy God on our own(no one has ever kept the 10) state of the heart is as relevant as action. the commandments only reveal that without God's spirit in us we connot ever hope to have His favor

here endeth the lesson

Salaam (Peace) to all...

The "initiate" begins with "I shall not".

Once he becomes adept in his practice, he then can say, "I have not".

It is not a matter of which one is stronger, but a matter of which one is appropriate for the level of "training" one is on.
