I would say Indonesia. Eventhough there have been some natural disasters in that country, it is not that awful to be there. Foreign people still stay and live there. Also some tourist still come to the countries. The country is rich with lots of cultures of course including its different ethnical backgrounds so of course languages and foods and many other things. You would have to stop by the capital city's airport, Jakarta. Get your hotel to arrange the pick up also for a maybe 3days stay there. You may go to places where it is only in Jakarta, perhaps the National Monument and the museums etc. Or of course there are plenty places to dine etc. Then you can fly to Solo which is in Central Java, directly from Jakarta. If you are not accustomed or you are not the adventurous type of tourist, please ask your travel agent to make the arrangements. You may see the waterfall in Tawangmangu and also the small temples from the Hindu era. The foods there are fantastic! Ask them that you would like to try a lot of them. I know some people who can help you with that... Then arrange a land-travel to Yogya where you can go to see the Ramayana dance at the Borobudur temple and there are places to visit too in these city. Don't forget the batik souvenirs both from Solo and Yogya. I guess, a week and a half is enough, for now, then you may fly to Bali. The gate of Indonesia.... Dont worry about bombs... They can be anywhere, just like thieves and robbers, they can be anywhere but dont worry that they are always near us. Just enjoy the time that we have. Have fun while staying alert and cautious. Everywhere there is fun but everywhere too there is danger sometimes. Enjoy yourself whether it is in Kuta, Denpasar, Ubud or anywhere else in Bali. Then head for Lombok to see the more peaceful environment there. After that you can go to Sulawesi. Ask for the area where they cook the best fish soup..... then you might as well travel to Maluku, if you love diving, there are good spots there they say.... and Indonesia is a tropical country, it lies on the equator so the species in water and land are so various. Next is Irian Jaya, go and find out when the dance festival is. See if you can learn some of the tribal languages that are only spoken by people of the same group as little as 10 sometimes, I heard. Well, after that, it is not complete, if you dont come and visit Kalimantan and Sumatera. Pontianak is good or you can see the orang utans there. Then Medan in Sumatera is the spot. You can find, Javanese, Chinese who speak Hokkien, Indian ethnics also the Batak people. You'll be glad to have a month of wonder in the world of paradise....
Have fun, hope to meet you in Indonesia......

For a month, why not go to a few countries? Fly into philippines and relax by the sea in Boracay. Head to Manila for some excitement. Then travel to Bali Indonesia for a beach stay a while.
From Bali, fly into Singapore for a spot of shopping if it is between May to Jul. We have the Great Singapore Sales then.
From here, you can take a coach to Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. Watch the scenery changes along the way. In KL, visit the tallest building in the region, Petrona Twin Towers, formerly the highest in the world.
From KL, jet to Bangkok for a different culture. Shop and temples visit or visit the beach or a mountain resort or visit ancient ruins.
From there, you can fly or bus to Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat before the place is claimed by the jungle again. Head to Vietnam for a mix of French and Viet culture in one place.
This should fill your month vacation very fully.

Japan and South Korea at the instantaneous are not too warm, yet very gentle temperatures even in summer season.you should evaluate those international locations. they are very pleasant places for travelers to visit, in spite of if language will be a difficulty, pretty written language. Japan and South Korea should be very extreme priced, even if. i fairly imagine you should evaluate the Philippines. it really is an English talking united states. each of the signs and warning signs are in English and also you'll locate mind-blowing hotels to relax and fairly decrease priced rates. Manila is a really congested city, yet you are able to study fairly some historic past with assistance from traveling Corregidor Island, the former Clark Airbase or Bataan (former US protection rigidity bases and web pages of commonly used battles). Cebu city has fairly some Spanish way of life nonetheless obtrusive (as well as fairly some american and eu people living there). there are various mind-blowing hotels close to Cebu city as well as Boracay and Palawan Island. The Philippines is a fairly warmth position even if, except you're at a motel. i fairly imagine you'll benefit from the Philippines, once you get out of Manila it extremely is. Thailand isn't a really risk-free position to visit, except you in simple terms flow on to a motel and avoid Bangkok. also have language problems in Thailand.

For a month, you may spend more than 4-7 days alone for air traveling among those countries. That means that you have only 21 days for sight seeing, shopping and the touch of nature and local people.
Arrive Bkk,
3-4 days in Bkk, Ayhudhya, Kanjanaburi,
3 days in Phuket, Kabi or Samui beaches,
2 days in KL, Malaysia
2 days in Singapore,
3 days in Philippines,
2 days in Bali, Indonesia
3-4 days - Chiengmai, Chiengrai, Mae Hong Sohn, Thailand
3 days in Angkor Wat, Cambodia
3 days in Hanoi Vietnam or
Luang Prabang Laos
Please check your flight schedule, but I can say 1 month is too tough for all these countries. In my opinio, I think it's good for only 2-3 countries ( you should enjoy and let the time run slower than the time in your office. Rushing from place to place is tough).

The Peninsula Malaysia. Food is plentiful, delicious and people warm and friendly. Crime rate is, well, can be accepted. I don't really like Singapore. Too strict, can't relax, though crime rate is low, city is clean. Prefer food from Malaysia, taste better, especially food from Penang, yum. Thailand is ok, shopping is good. Manila, don't like it, I'll rather choose Penang, well, maybe KL.

If you have a month, then you should see the most famous sites:
Borobudur (Indonesia)
Angkor Wat (Cambodia)
Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (Cambodia)
Shwedagon Pagoda (Burma)
Grand Palace (Thailand)
Ayutthaya (Thailand)
Rice Terraces (Philippines)
I would also go to Singapore, Hanoi (Vietnam), and Bali.
