there is nothing to do but take the high road...........and when someone mentions to you that he said this or he said that....just look a bit shocked and hurt and say "wow, i thought he had more respect for me than that".....and say NOTHING else. be classy.

He went out with your best friend and your best friend went out with him?
Take the high road and do absoutely nothing about the rumors. Stop communication with both of these scum bags and move on.
As the saying goes: "Tis better to be silent and thought a fool than to speak and relieve all doubt". You'll look a lot classier if you don't rebut the rumers by adding to them.
Good luck finding that one fish in the sea!

There's not much you can do about it. Just stick to your guns and dont let him pressure you into making mistakes. You KNOW you didn't do whatever he's saying you did and i'm sure that your friends and the people close to you (who are the only ones that matter) know you didn't as well. Let his lips flap, you're better than him. Be the adult and ignore him. Once he sees his lies have no effect on you he'll move on.

U don't do anything! Ur friends won't believe him, & those that do, rn't ur friends, so, don't worry about it- it'll all come out sooner or later. If someone should ask u if it's true, don't even dignify it with an answer, just hold ur head hi, & walk away. Ur ex-bf is a jerk, u're better than that.
Good Luck!

If you are sure he was doing such a thing:
do you have a big brother? I would just confront my boyfriend and have my big brother with me there. (or a muscled male friend, i promise, it works better)
no menace, just the straight thing: look, I know you have been spreading bad things about me, just stop!
oh, no dialogue, you dont negotiate with this guy

Be the better of the two and hold your head high. Don't stoop to his level. If he spreading rumors about you then this is a good chance to see who your real friends are. Your real friends won't believe him or they will come to you and ask you.

I think you should just ignore it. don't care what other people think. there's only going to be bad things that happen to him; bad carma. besides, he's the one who broke up with u. depending on what the rumors are..if they're really bad then just tell him to stop. maybe talk to somebody (at your school??) like a teacher or counselor.

Best friends don't date each other's boyfriend or ex-boyfriend. Others mostly consider the source and the age (which must be young). Just let it go and move on with your young life.

Let the people that are closest to you know they are not true but do not talk to him about it or spread things about him just pretend as if nothing has happened. Leave it alone

you could 1- sink down to his level and spread bad rumors about him
or 2- show your better then him and just ignore them and tell people the truth

He is trying to give you a guilt trip. He wants to play games. he wants to hurt you, but you know better, Don't let him win. He's being childish and a sore loser. You know the truth. He doesn't deserve you.
