I had aweful luck with proactiv. I've tried using it twice. I was told by my doctor it's because some people's acne is internal, and others are topical. Proactiv doesn't work for internal Ance. I switched to Nature's Cure, which seems to work, along with the Clearsil Ultra cream (which works amazingly well)

It does work, but not as well as they say on the commercial. It takes a few weeks but you do see a difference. But it does irritate your skin sometimes if you are really sensitive. I have never had a lot of acne, I only have an occasional blemish every few weeks and that is when I use it, and the mask they give you really does work, it goes away within a few days if you use it consistently. One of the best things about ProActiv though is that it really makes your skin look better! Like whether you have acne or not, if you use the toner and lotion, your skin looks more even and refreshed. It also minimizes pores. I think the benefits outweigh the bad things about it so I think you should try it, but because it doesn't work for everyone, I think you should try a sample first. I hope this answer helps! =)

JUST USE REGULAR FACE WASH. UNLESS YOU HAVE HORRIBLE ACNE, YOU DO NOT NEED IT. ONCE YOU START USING IT, YOUR SKIN NEEDS IT OR IT IS MESSED UP. ITS TOO EXPENSIVE TO USE AND NOT NEED. I HAVE A SISTER WHO RUNS A STAND AND I DON'T USE IT ANYMORE AND I GET IT FOR FREE.

If you have digested 99% of food you have taken, the remaining 1% of undigested food will create toxins which is alien to our system. The body tries to expell it out by way acne/pimples. To have a permanent riddance of pimples, you have to cleanse and rennovate your digestive system You should drink for a week or so nearly 1 litre water as soon as you get up after sleep and your pimples will say goodbye for ever.

I used proactive for about a year. It made a big difference but then I noticed it had reached it's full potential. I stopped using it but my acne did not come back. You know, only those occasional break outs, very minimal.

First of all, I have used proactiv and no, your face doesn't get worst. It works well, you have to use it every day in steps and it is mostly for people with sensitive or dry skin.

I've used it for a week and a half now and I already see a difference. It's a pain to have to wash your face twice a day, but I was already doing that anyway. I just want to use it for a few months and then stop because I dont have serious acne. I hope my skin stays clear after that! Good luck.

My sister and I tried Proactive for about 4 months. Yes, in the first month it did a pretty good job for me, but I still looked gross and had to try to cover it up with foundation -which of course never worked - my sister on the other hand got very little results. After about 2 months, we quit using it. Don't get it, it's not worth it. I'm pretty much convinced that there's nothing you can do about acne but deal with it, b*tch about it to anyone who'll listen, and hope it goes away someday.
