1) For most it's as simple as learning about Wicca, and deciding that they want to take it up as their religion.

2) You have to find an existing coven and see what their deal is, or form one of your own. Most still seem to be solitary practitioners.

3) That all depends on the politics of the coven or other community. There are a few initiation traditions either passed down from Gerald Gardner or based on some other interpretations of other initiation rites, but titles are either handed to you or self-proclaimed.

Most wiccans start by doing research. Like looking on the internet, joining online groups, etc...Also by reading. Lots and lots and lots of reading. They join covens by searching for local covens in their area and asking if it is alright to observe quietly, participate, or even join the coven itself, of course its not necessary to join a coven. You can work as a solitary and still get great results. They become Priest/Priestesses by participating in a degree system within the coven. First degree usually takes a year and a day. I'm not sure how long the other two take, as I'm a solitary and not a Wiccan (although I am a part of a group that contains wiccans)

Hope some of this helps.

1) Most Wiccans become Wiccan after a lot of reading and study of the religion to make sure that it is right for them.

I'd recommend "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham, and "The Triumph of the Moon" by Ronald Hutton. I advise you to stay away from anything by Silver Ravenwolf, for reasons outlined in the following essay:

2) Joining a coven is usually not easy, because (a) most covens aren't looking, and (b) any coven worth its salt will be very careful about considering any new members. In traditional Wicca, a coven is a working group bound by oaths and intertwined personal energies. Most covens require a period of study -- traditionally a year and a day -- to learn the "outer court" mysteries before a potential initiate is admitted, to be sure that the coven and the individual in question are suited to each other.

3) In Wicca, each member is considered a priest/ess -- there are no intermediaries between a Wiccan and their Gods. Each individual Wiccan is ideally fully capable of creating and running their own rituals.

The term "High Priestess" is generally reserved for the initiatory Traditions, where it signifies the female leader of a coven who has gone to the top rank of initiation. In eclectic Wiccan practice where there is no initiatory progression, the term often means someone who provides services to and runs rituals for the community.

Hope this helps.

Many Wiccans find Wicca (usually online or at Barnes and Nobles) after leaving Christianity and many are born into it. Wiccans frequently find each other online and may eventually join a coven. To become a priest/priestess they will study, and devote themselves to helping others. Some have a training time through their coven, some go it alone. They gain legal ordination from their county/state etc. Usually the go on to form a coven.

1. I did a self dedication after much meditation, study and reflection.

2. You can find most covens on http://www.witchvox.com/ when contacting a coven ask their requirements and if they require you to tithe. If they do require dues or money from you, you might want to find a new coven.

3. Every Wiccan is their own priest/priestess. But if you are interested in becoming ordained, you can get an online ordination through http://www.themonastery.org/

Satan draws them to the hell fire, with evil thought, and desires to become a witch, and for some , they can not fight satan so well, and are dragged down, left confused they think being satans tool is cool. in the end satan leaves them in the lurch and cannot help them. if left unchecked and without full repentance made, could be a bad time on judgment day, bad times indeed.
