I ask this because I date a guy who drinks and sometimes can't rise to the occasion. I don't know if I keep trying to work him that I am just leading to his frustration; but if I just let it go he may feel I am not interested. He is very giving in all other aspects, but I don't think drugs would work with him being a drinker. I guess I am asking how do YOU THE GUY want a woman to handle this sensitive situation? Do me a favor and skip the jokes.

do you notice what hes drinking at the times he cant rise to the occasion? If it is a certain alcohol you know that you can just tell him that you would rather go to sleep that night, that is a tuff question though cause each man is different. Pay attention to the alcohol that he drinks when that situation happens. I am sure that you can work something out with him. Pushing the issue with him when this happens will add to his frustration..

His drinking could very well be the problem - alcohol is notorious for causing impotence (as is smoking). I'd demand that he make a choice between sex and drinking, and between his relationship with you and drinking. If he picks drinking, he's a loser and you should find somebody better.

Hmmm... just ask him what he wants you to do and don't act disappointed or frustrated. He needs to be relaxed to get it up and if he is embarrassed or uncomfortable nothing will happen. So just ask him what he wants and maybe do some more forplay.. good luck

In your case, it's simply time for a new man. His drinking is his problem and you've let it become yours, and that's just silly. You cannot make him change, but you can make YOU change. Dump him and move on.

drinking too much makes it limp:( Have him stop the drinking before it time for a woody. It worked for me:)

dont act mad at him wait until the beer buzz goes away and he should do just fine. until then see if he will do other things that will pleasure you since it is his fault that he isnt getting any.

i feel your pain my bf drinks to if you no you guys are gonna do it that nite try your best to keep him from the drinks and tell him it's either the drinks or me!!
