boy problems??

Question

so i like this guy but i dont talk to him or am i friends with him and i really want to become his friend or maybe even more than that and im scared that if i say hi to him that ill make a fool of myself and also would it be weird if i talk to him after not talking to him all year long??? im in a couple of classes with him but wont it be akward after not talking to him for like the whole year and starting now?? idk what to do help plzzzzzz

Just talk to him..we all get nervous about chatting to someone but just think how you will feel when he talks to you.

No it would not be weird if you talked to him now. Just be friendly as him how he's doing in the class that you share and just start a conversation about general things. If ever you get a chance to be semi- alone ask him about himself, if you know anything that he is or could be interested in that would be a great starter topic. Video games? Food? Movies? Whatever you can think of and if the conversation does seem at all awkward or pressured then you know it just might not be good timing, don't blame yourself at least you will be able to say you tried instead of regretting never talking to him at all. Many people have this problem. I even had this problem. Maybe some of your friends would introduce you to this guy. Or maybe by luck the teacher assign you two as partners and you can break the ice then. Always be confident in yourself whatever you do because if you don't your voice would never get heard. Try to start a conversation like "Can I borrow a pencil?" or This stuff is hard." Say anything, but not anything stupid to him and maybe you will start talking.

Just talk to him, find any reason, if he keeps up the conversation you will be able to tell if he likes you. I liked this guy when I was a sophmore and he was a junior. I just looked at him and couldn't get the nerve to talk to him. Summer came we signed each others yearbooks and nothing then the next year I saw him again and he actually came up to me. It was the best day ever. So don't wait a year. Go For It!

WHOA! you are so nervous! I'm sure he has no indication that you like him if you haven't even spoken a word to him! I would ask him about something school related so that it doesn't have to do with feelings or a signal of flirting. Just a simple"Hey, what was our English homework again? I forgot to write it down." or something like that. But don't waste his time, don't say "um", but look into his eyes and look confident. once you ask him a something of that nature then start a convo about how much you love (or hate) the class. You'll be surprised how much a quick convo can bring up a friendship or in your case maybe even more. good luck.

If you know his friends then start asking them how he is and then when you find an interest you both have than go and talk to him. Just as long as you haven't purposely not talked to him in the beginning of the year it should be fine.

Don't start a big conversation to begin with - just say "hi" a few times and then continue on to how was your weekend, day, event, etc. He will start talking back.
