yes you do., and i am assuming that you are Jamaican...It was not always that way, this new legislation was passed couple years ago (about 7 yrs). Usually you would need a letter of invitation to go to England, but now because of new security measures and the increase in Jamaican-related crimes in the UK a visa is required.
You would have to schedule an appointment at the British High Commission and go in for an interview, then they will decide your suitability.
