I had Bell's Palsy on the right side - only about 95% recovery and it's been 12 years. But, to answer your question, no. Bells Palsy affected the nerves controlling the muscles. My jaw cracks on the left side.

Unfortunately, I have TMJ and this is most likely what you might have. It means the jaw is not even and makes popping noises and hurts some days. Some times it does not hurt. Go ask your dentist about this popping noise to take an x-ray to see if it is TMJ. Hope you feel better soon.

It's TMJ. If your jaw pops one day and doesn't pop back right, you need to see a specialist right away. You should probably see a specialist anyways. TMJ sucks. I had it in my high school years from a curvature in my spine combined with bad posture.

I would think its unlikely, have you ever had a broken jaw?/ severe trauma to that side of the jaw, as that may be the cause of it.
