I have thick medium brown hair a couple inches past my shoulder and im not sure if this hairstyle will look good on me. I want it to look just like the picture

did you want the color or the cut?
if its the color, dont go all blond on top like the picture, but rather thicker blond colored highlights (keeping the bottom your natural hair color or even a few shades lighter just like the picture)
for the cut, if your hair is oval shaped this probably wont be such a great cut because the hair is long in front onto the face so it will elongate your face even more, other than that the hairstyle should like fine on pretty much every other kind of face shape, if you do have an oval shape, cut the bangs shorter but keep them off to the side thats wat i do and it helps to make your face seem much more round

uhh i think that even though it wont look the same itll still look cute, but i suggest you grow your hair out because it works best on longer hair

if your hair is straight and not that too wavy then it may work for you, depends on your facial structure and skin tone...
If you wanna pursue this look try to get a hair-relax to get that straight hair ^^,
