For the bikini area...

I hate shaving because I get those bumps. Ouch!

The creams burns.

I want to wax but whenever I do I end up with in grown hairs. I need to prevent them. I can treat them sometimes effectively. Most of the time I am left with red bumps. It is driving me absolutely nuts! How can I wax and not get in growns.

Is there any way to prevent this. My legs are fine, never had an ingrown there. Just the bikini zone.

In grown hairs are the worst. How can I prevent them or treat them right away so I am not left with embarassing bumps?

Preventing would be better.

depends on how you wax, wax should be spread along the direction of the growing hair and removed against, meaning you should spread the wax in the direction of the hair and pull vice versa, spread from top down, pull down up, as soon as you finish wash with cold water to close the pores and use a derm vitamin based cream, and wait a while before you wear anything or if you have to wear something loose so that it doesn't rub on the irritated skin, and wait a day before going in the sun and salted water :) have fun

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

My first advice stop waxing first and consult a dermatologist you may be allergic to what your using... they can recommend a better and safer cream to use...

another advice is to wax atleast one or twice a month for your skin to rest and not to be harrassed...

Lastly, if you really want to get rid of that hair get a surgery that permanently removes hair ^^,

try using an aloe vera cream to help with irritations, maybe try using a different product next time.
