Why do some (more than some) of christians accually follow what they preach? All I keep seeing is these people using theri religion as a source of power. Whats up with that??

Man has a heart bent toward evil because of Adam and Eve's sin at the beginning in the garden of Eden. You do evil even though you may want to do the opposite (good). If you enjoy doing evil then you will use any religion including atheism to your own selfish and prideful ambitions.
A true Christian lives by the very Spirit of God, which God gives to those who have faith in His son Jesus Christ. It is a gift from God made possible by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Power corrupts. Whether it is Christians in Ireland, Muslims in Iran, The Hutu, The Sikhs, The Hindus none of us is immune to the corruptions of power.

Hmmm...because Christian means Christ-like, which is what we are supposed to strive to be. It is the love of Christ that will draw people into a relationship with God, not organized religion or rules...

My beliefs say that this is part of Satan's doing and the evil he perpetuates makes people greedy sometimes.
God is great and many ministries are honest and true, but some are not.

im confused to! why is it god says you cant do this. its not good to do this. you have to be like this ?? but on the other hand the devel says hey go have a good time take what you can. do who you can. all he wants is you soul..god wants you to live in hell if you dont do what he wants..so you see my delima...well mabe not i think free and fun is better..
