ASK HIM TO GO TO SOME EVENT AT SCHOOL WITH YOU AND WHILE YOUR THERE SAY THIS IS BORING DO YA WANNA GET OUT OF HERE AND THEN GO SPEND SOME TIME WITH HIM. while your out with him you will probly find out hes not all that.

Trust me, you won't freak the guy out. Many guys, or probably most of them, like girls to make the first step. Guys making the first step is overrated. Write him a message or send him an e-card. It might sound corny but the guy would be blushing, but they like will like it. Be aggressive, just don't over do it. Now, to turn off the little corniness of the e-card, just make fun of that during the date. You can also do it in a more friendly way, such as "hey, let's do something this weekend."

Just ask him what he's doing for the weekend. His reaction should answer both your questions. If he says he's busy don't expect much but if he says that he's free then ask him out.
