How old are you? If you have the freedom to think what you want then extend that same freedom to Christians. It's called discussion and disagreement, not disrespect.

Some people have way too much time on their hands. Not content with worrying about what they believe, they feel the need to convert others until everyone thinks the same way. Whatever happened to live and let live??
If they are really harrassing you and don't go away even when you tell them to leave you alone, you can tell someone at the school. This is actually a form of bullying, and some disciplinary action could be taken.

They can dis you all they want. There is also freedom of speech. However there are certain environments where harrassment based on religion is actionable, work for example. I can't swear to it, but I would imagin school as well ( since there have been actions for sexual harrasment in schools and those things fall under the same type of law). Complain to the school. If they fail to stop it get a lawyer.

Goody goody christian people
can't convert you. The Spirit of
God does that. You can be an
atheist and still be a good person.
Only in Christ will you know for sure.

Please don't take it too personally. I remember feeling the same way. It was not people that brought me to where I am at in my faith today. I pray that you see the belivers that are different than those who turn you off. Hopefully you don't do as they do and harrass others that do not belive as you do. Telling them to go to hell just fuels the fire.
Freedom should not harm others

Just tell somebody like a teacher or the principal if you need to. You're right nobody should be harassed regardless if they're religious or non religious. Just like they have the freedom of religion you have the freedom from religion.

I would never bug you about it. I am a strong christian girl, but I totally respect everyone's beliefs. Good christians will not "diss" you for not believing, but just pray for you. I am sorry that you feel offended, but as a christian I am constantly offended as well. It's just life. Take care.

Cause one of these days Islam or something is gonna be the popular relegion and I would want people to leave me alone. sorry I cant help much.

No matter what you are, SOMEone will have a problem with it.
Just stick to your guns.
And maybe join an atheist group, online or in RL, so you don't feel alone.

I don't diss you for not believing in God. You have the freedom to believe whatever you want, regardless of what a piece of paper says. The freedom comes from God and you have exercised His gift. Congratulations!
Sincerely,
Mark :o)
