Don't toss and turn. You need to use the bed for sleep and sex only. If you don't fall asleep in your bed your mind and body will think the bed is not for sleep.

These are some of the things I have tried: drinking warm milk before bedtime, eat 1 tablespoon of honey, warm bath, relaxing music, hide the clock so you cannot see what time it is, refrain from caffine, make sure your room is totally dark, use the bedroom only for what it was intended to used for, meditation, never go to bed angry or upset, try putting a pillow between your knees and try breathing relaxation exercises. Good night!

It sounds weird, but I lay at the other end of the bed. It always works. Also, go to a health food store and get chamomile essential oil and lavender essential oil. Add 7 drops of each and 2-3 cups epsom salts to your warm bath. Soak for 20 minutes, then lay down and sleep like a baby.

Have you tried melatonin? Also 5-HTP is supposed to help with sleep cycles.
If this has been going on for some time, I say try some sort of natural remedy.
If this has just started...you may just need to try to relax for a while before going to bed. Maybe you're just going through a stressful time...and your brain is in overdrive.
Read/watch something boring. Take a bath. Relax!

What I do at night is I do things like reading until my eyes can't stay open any longer.I also make sure my bed is as comfortable as my body likes it also. Your problem might be because you're going to bed at different times. If you don't have an even time that you go to sleep each night you won't be able to sleep and you only fall asleep to the time your body is used to going to sleep. Also try taking a nice relaxing milk bath before you go to bed,put face mask on that always helps me to get to sleep.Another reason might be because you have something on your mind.If so try going to a therapist.

Don't drink too much caffine and work hard all day so you'll sleep.
