So i went out and spend the huge amount of money that pc world here in ireland was asking of us to get a vista ultimate ,
problem: i am a engineer that has written a few software programs (nothing earthshaking : flange design on pipes, motions and damage impact of fluids under high speed in diameter restricted pipes and stuff like that) and when i tried to work on the programs which i own and which are mine a window popped up were i was told that i needed the permission of the administrator to do this, but there was only a single account on this pc and i was the administrator so it looks that microsoft wishes you to receive permission from some ueber administrator, so to be honest, forget about the money i paid, vista is for the bin , i am back with xp

well im a computer scientist basically and when we got Vista to test we had millions of problems i mean there tons of bugs on it and its security systems are terrible i mean it ask u if you want to send an instant message and you could turn it off but then you would have any protection from viruses or spyware and then youd have loads more of problems so my suggestion is that you dont by vista or any microsoft OS's and you get a mac.

I absolutely love it. I dont know why anyone wouldnt. Its easy to use, fast and works great. Ive seen people bad mouth vista and most of them probably dont know how to use it. I recommend if you want it, to either upgrade your comp or just buy a new one. Dont try to install it on a slow computer. If you have a slow computer it will run painfully slow due to the aero 3d and application load time. Everything is awesome.

Vista is like Windows 95 in a new wrapper!
Trying to copy files to other folders is nearly impossible and its slow as hell!
Thats with a 3.4gig AMD processor and a gig of ram!
Stick with XP!!

It's doing good but it has compatability issues. Now wouldn't be a good time to get Vista.
I would recommend an other platform such as Mac OS X, or Windows XP.
