Tonsil stones are not a symtom of cancer. They are the result of decaying food particles and bacteria. People who are susceptible to tonsillitis will often develop tonsilloliths, but anyone can develop them.

Tonsilloliths are not related to cancer. However, tonsilloliths that are large can be mistaken for a tumor on the tonsil, and may require a biopsy to determine exactly what it is. Because of the possibility that this could be a malignancy and not tonsilloliths a doctor should examine you to make this determination.
