depends on the dad, my dad had a sweeter heart then my mom when I was growing up but mostly men do not show their feelings or emotions, even though they have a huge heart, they sometimes don't show it to anyone
why don't you write your dad a letter and ask him this question in it? maybe it would get him to thinking

Maternal instinct/intuition. We carried the baby for 9months our body went through tremendous changes feeling the baby move and giving birth. At the end we better love the children. On another note some men have softer hearts than women there's plenty of wonderful single dads that do a better job than the moms.

My husband has a sweet heart. Everytime our baby cries he looks at me like he has to ask if he can pick him up.
Moms are programmed to be great, but sometimes it is the opposite and dads are the sweet ones and moms are the bad ones.
I like that my baby has a sweet daddy and mommy!

They want to show everyone that they are not weak, it's tough being a man, if another guys see one guy changing a diaper or holding a baby, they point and laugh and call him a baby. I've seen it, my husband works with mechanics and they are ruthless heartless people...well most of them are crackheads. It's easy to see.

Actually--in our house--when it comes to the kids, I have more of the rock hard heart than my husband.

My dad was the one with the sweet heart.......So was my grandpa. So not all dads have hard rock hearts..:)

well dads are made out to be the tuff ones the one who lays down the law when the kids do wrong the dad is the one frm the olden days he ruled the roost
