What about you? Are you provoking? What about that? Do you think that you can say whatever you want to and we shouldn't respond? Go read about Jesus-He told it like it was, and still does.
Do you consider our view point, or do you just instigate for an argument?

It is true but consider this if You would, Jesus was Jewish yet practiced Essene so one could consider what Jesus truly advocated fairly far removed from the development of Christianity and what manifestations it has morphed into over the centuries it has endured. Jesus wouldn't be a Christian should He return, it is the church of Paul, Thomas, Augustine, and all those that wrote of Christs alleged deeds and actions plus the politically astute like Clovis of the Franks ( a real killer! ) or his grandson Charlemagne that created the bedrock that makes up modern Christian doctrine and dogma by forging the Holy Roman empire by the sword. It's mostly lip service to an ideal that has been greatly bastardized to enforce a political agenda therefore You won't find a lot of cheek turning amongst the rank and file of the faithful. I hope this helps, take care.

Many Christians will tell you something like that although yes, Jesus did say to turn the other cheek, he was actually thinking about what he would have for dinner that night and not concentrating on what he was saying, so it's only meant symbolically.
What he really meant to say (had he not be thinking about a nice juicy steak and a flagon of good red) was "If somebody smite thee, then take up thy gun and blow him to kingdom come if thou so wish."
Yes, I'm being sarcastic. My point is that I've heard Christians (especially big macho heterosexual manly football loving ones) crawl out of this verse a thousand times arguing it's just meant "symbolically" or "metaphorically" or "poetically" when the plain truth is that they wouldn't contemplate for a nanosecond actually having to lie down like meek sheep and turn the other cheek, even if Jesus did actually command just that.
In other words, theoretically a Christian who disobeys that command is a sinner, but of course, that's not for me to judge.

Christians should not condemn others. They should hold judgement for God and not take that responsibility for themselves.
Non-Christians are quick to throw out that tid-bit about turning the other cheek. The truth is Christians don't have to be trampled on, especially when it comes to their beliefs. They have ever right to stand up for themselves and for their faith.

It's difficult, that's for sure. But being a Christian isn't easy. However, Jesus did say that if you find it difficult to turn the other cheek, at the very least treat others the way you want to be treated.

No it is not true. I can't believe that I come back to Y/A after about 3 months, and people are still making the same generalizations and accusations...can we grow up at some point?

No. And this advice is only for a minor personal attacks.
We do not condemn, we leave it for God. Sometimes you just need to see something you do not like. The same goes for us. : )

It is true that most Christians don't practice what Jesus preached, but it is also true that most Buddhist don't practice what the Buddha preached either.
