I REALLLLLLLLY like this guy and want to get to know him better and start talking. But...the thing is my best friend likes him too. And so my best friend and I are trying to give "fair shots" at him. But I can't let myself go through with it. I mean, I can't bear the thought of losing her and him. I really like him and see something between us, but I love my best friend. What should I do?

Let it occur naturally. If he really likes both of you, he is struggling with the decision as well. It is best for you to be friends and let the love wait. I know it is difficult. But you will find really good and close friends are very hard to come by. At your age, nurture your friendships first, because that very special one who is to love you for a lifetime is even more difficult to find than the friends. Be patient and look to God for the answer. May He bless you with a life full of riches.

I was in this situation before. Fortunately for me, I ended up getting the girl and my best friend didn't. Somehow, we were still able to be best friends, but I could always sense some jealousy. You said, "But I can't let myself go through with it." If you really can't let yourself, then you wouldn't be asking us what to do. You should talk to your friend, hopefully work something out where you two agree to stay away from this guy, or maybe just try and stop liking him. He will ruin your friendship, and friends last longer than boyfriends. You just need to communicate with her, work it out. Good luck and I hope I helped!

You should know this: your best friend will always be there for you. Boyfriends are only temporary. I suggest you give it up, because I don't think you'd want a boy to come between your friendship. You'd be foolish to go after a boy, and risk your friendship. There are millions of boys out there, but you won't get best friends very often.

well. im a dude. n i wud say the best thing to do is for neither of u to take ur shots at him.. cuz it wnt be fair..n u can tell the end is gona b bad. jst wait it out. after a while most likely u or/and ur friend will get over him. n so the one who doesnt can have him. n no1 will be hurt..unless the guy decides to kill u bothhhhh..sike jk. .lol..give my advice a shot though.

Definatly pick the guy. After a few months you'll find out that he's a jack *** and he will probably try to get both you and your friend into bed. Then you'll probably end up liking your best friend even more and dump the guy. After that you and your friend will happily live as a lesbian couple.

talk to ur friend and tell her that ur friendship with her is more important than this guy and if its a battle between the guy than u dont want to go through it because ur friendship means to much to u. Tell her how u feel an that u dont want a guy to come between u 2. Hope I Helped!!!

If you really love him you should do the right thing just tell your friend that she can have him but if your friend dose not really love him you take him and tell your friend that you like him so much and she can forgive you

I've totally been in this situation you just have to go through with it take turns flirting wiht him and stuff he'll choose one of you. And if your friend gets pissed at you if he picks you then shes low...
