Because some tribe in arabia still use dog to hunt wild animal. without the help of their dog it would be very hard for them to hunt wild animal such as the mountain goat, deer and etc.

Hunting dogs and outside dogs are fine.
It's a problem when you keep them inside because their saliva breaks your wudu/absolution

Its not haraam. The only reason dogs are not allowed into homes is because the prayer place has to be clean. You are allowed to have dogs outside and use them for hunting or protection.

Dog is not Haram or Illicit.. The Prophet said: "use dogs in hunting, gaurding, and in your land." It is forbidden to "Eat" the dog, and it is adviced that you clean yourself properly after coming in contact with its fluids.

i think pig is haram for them.

and it is because, in those times pig carried diseases. which does not make any sense these days, but still they regard it as enlightening. It is Islam.
