Because Global warming and Evolution are real and God isn't.

Evolution is not a fact. Evolution is a theory. Quick disclaimer…there are certain types of evolution that are true such as adaptation. However, I did not evolve from a monkey. For simple proof of that, there are no half-man, half-monkeys running around.

Another, is that those who believe that the Earth evolved from the big bang billions of years ago. Even if it were true that there was a tiny mass that exploded into what we are now… where did that mass come from? I am still waiting on Science to answer that one.

Basic truth is that some believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that God created everything while others believe we evolved. The truth is that neither can be proven by concrete evidence, only beliefs. And what do we call a system of beliefs…religion. That is right believing in evolution is practicing a religion.

The difference is that Christianity is based on the Bible that has stayed the same for over 4,000 years. Evolution is based on science that changes every day. Science used to believe that the earth was 10 million years old and thousands of other theories that were based on experiments. Now Science believes 100 years later that the earth is 4.5 billion years old.

The Bible does not state anything about evolution because it is not a fact. As for global warming… there is nothing that talks about air pollution and litter either, but do we question its existence. The Bible discusses religious principles not science.

The earth is approx. 91 million miles from the sun. This is fact, it is proved and knowable, yet it is not mentioned in the Bible. Why not? Because knowing that fact is not essential to faith or mankind's understanding of God and His will.

The global warming theory is just that - theory and not yet pr oven as undeniable fact. The same goes for evolution, except that it is much less improbable than global warming. No scientific experiment has ever succeeded in creating life from non-living matter and mathematicians agree that the odds of a universe existing in which life can form is 1 in10 to the 10(followed by 131 "0's") power. They also agree that the causation of life by a supreme being is much more likely.

In short, even if global warming and evolution were facts, it is not required for the purposes of faith that they be included in the Word of God.

Clearly, you are presuming that global warming is a fact, and not something that has been made up by western governments to protect their economies by suppressing the industrialisation of the Third World.

Some facts that western governments do not make a song and dance about, for obvious reasons:

1. The recent UN report confirming the existence of global warming was signed by less than 25% of the scientists employed to look into the subject (Over 200). The rest did nit sign it because they believed it to be incorrect

2. There is less CO2 in the atmosphere now than at any time in the Earth's atmosphere. It is the lack of CO2 that is likely to increase temperatures, because CO2 reflects the Sun's heat from the Earth.

3. The Earth's weather patters are in a constant state of flux. We went through a similar period of warmth as little as 90 years ago. When the Earth shifts on its axis, weather patterns change around the globe.

4. There is no doubt that the Earth will suffer another ice age in the next 10,000 years.

...Evolution is not included because the Bible teaches about creation by the Infinite Creator God, who made and sustains all things.
...Evolution is a theory and not fact. Real science involves testable, repeatable, data in a laboratory. Evolution cannot be repeated in a laboratory, and therefore falls in the realm of matters of faith, as does creationism, which of course is the Biblical view (and as a Christian, I believe the Bible view of creation).
...Global warming was not an issue until 10-20 years ago. It is an idea based on what many consider junk science and on inconclusive evidence. Not all scientists agree if it is true or false, and there is recent evidence that has discredited it, which angers people like the former VP Al Gore and other environmentalists, who envision and desire massive, unnecessary, and very restrictive legislation, more government control, and of course government (taxpayer) funding, to finance their ideas to save the world from global warming.
...Notice that VP Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" got an academy award recently for best documentary -
and it didn't make a scrap of difference whether or not it is true - which tells you where most of those in Hollywood are in their thinking.
...And, BTW, isn't it interesting, that folks like Mr. Gore and Mr. Kennedy are among many who want to burden most citizens with laws that would greatly restrict their freedoms, but for some reason these "earth saviors" find it unnecessary and unpalatable to follow the same laws they insist on putting on others.

Hello, my curious friend:

Just a few texts: Revelation 16:8, 9: "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory."

Revelation 16:12 "And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared."

Revelatgion 11:18 "And the nations were angry (Battle of Armageddon) and thy wrath is come... and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth."

Isaiah 24:3, 5 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. "The earth mourneth [and] fadeth away, the world languisheth [and] fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

Please note that we have transgressed God's law and that brings on the plagues--Global warming will ultimately lead nations to war over the scant commodities--Yes, we are facing bad times, my friend.

But there is more in the Bible. Discover the hidden "key" that unlocks the only part the Bible says is "closed until the end of the days"--the message is important, at "source:" The second URL tells "The Rise, Decline, and Death of Islam as Predicted in the Bible."

Blessings, Onel-Way

Really?
-The scripture you're talking about has been written by men (John, Paul etc) NOT God.
-I believe evolution took place in animals, and this is supported by the huge scientific evidence available today.
-Global warming is a FACT, don't you ever watch science channels? It's due to the pollution.
-The "scriptures" never mentioned cars, electricity, computers, cellphones, social security system, biotechnology, surgeries, petroleum, Close Up toothpaste, Cheese cakes or medication. So stop using these things, will you?

Hehe, this has to be a joke. Global warming is very strongly supported, with almost certainty that human interaction is causing the gradual increase in temperature. Though there is a small chance that it is a natural short-term fluctuation.

Evolution is a fact and theory, it is hilarious that some people still don't know what a scientific theory is. With thousands of pieces of evidence in every scientific field. Really is no debate here.

You are assuming one key fact, even though both sides agree that it cannot be proved or disproved either way - that God exists.

No-one, not even priests or bishops can say a religion is 100% fact, that is why the believe through FAITH.

By taking it as a fact, you are then able to (erroneously) suggest all kinds of other things as wrong, all due to your initial over-reaching assumption.

Learn to reason better.

Plus, I don't think the bible predicts the future in the same way Nostradamus did anyway.

Maybe...they aren't facts. No one has undeniably proved that evolution brought about everything or that global warming isn't a natural cycle of the earth.

The Bible was written 2000-4000 years ago by people with little understanding of science. Consequently they would not have known about climatology, biology, geology, cosmology, physics, chemistry and much of mathematics. You can't expect itinerant goat-hearders to write sensibly about such subjects and they didn't.

The Bible doesn't mention television sets, motor cars, bicycles, the internet, aeroplanes, telephones, fast food joints, or the USA. These all exist even though the Bible doesn't mention them. By your logic if god had meant these things to happen he would have mentioned them. Perhaps they don't exist and we are deluding ourselves into thinking they do.
