I am a 16 year old boy and my mother has always wanted a girl. I even was given a girl's name(kathleen). But latley she has been telling me that i am going to start becoming a nice young lady. She says that i have to grow my hair out and i am not allowed to go to the barber. I also have to wear girl clothe around the house including underwear. When i go to school though she just makes me wear the girl underwear which is good. She says that in a year no one will be able to reconize me as a boy anymore. I REALLY DONT WANT TO BE A GIRL. This is to weird for me but if i dont do it she'll kick me out and i wont have anywhere to go. I have no choice, but to let her do this to me.

Okay, so your story is bogus. I suppose the question is why did you ask it in the first place. Obviously, you enjoy a good fantasy. That's cool.. I can play along...
Kathleen, you know you were given a girl's name for a reason. Your mother gave you that name knowing that you would eventually become a woman. Everybody in the family knew this from the beginning. So don't expect your relatives to interfere. This moment has been groomed from your birth. Now that you're getting to that age where it will all come true. On your next birthday your mother will present you with the legal papers that will declare you to be a girl.. As a final chapter, you will be flown to Thailand where you will have a sex change operation.
The only thing I can't understand is why your mother waited so long. She should have been dressing you up as girl from the time you were born. I've heard of mothers who would do that. Oh well, better late than never. You'll have fun with the girls clothes. Looking pretty is something boys miss out on.

This is obviously a troll question so I will answer it with a troll answer. You know, parents often know us better than we know ourselves. So there is obviously a reason your mother is turning you into a girl. She probably noticed some dead giveaways in your behaviour that you are actually a girl trapped in a boys body. Perhaps she has noticed the way you look at the men in their speedos at the beach. Or maybe she got suspicious when you joined the Zack Efron fan club. Or maybe its your Lady Gaga and Madonna album collections. Either way your mother just wants whats best for you. I would go along with her, because she is obviously on the right track. Open your eyes and try to see in yourself what obviously what the rest of the world sees. You are just denying to yourself who you really are. Your mother is being very verbally & physically abusive to you. Go to school & tell your guidance councelor about this. I have seen a case like this before & they reported they're parents & the child was taken away from the parents & put into a fooster home. You need that more tan you can imagine. Whether or not you want to leave home is not really an option. You want to be a boy, right?! So do whats best for yourself & get out of this situation. Go & confront someone of authority about what your mother is doing to you. You need to get out of this asap! I wish you the best of luck <3 Go outside & be a boy & grave your knee's & get grass in your hair. Do stuff that can spit your mother if you want, because then she can realize your a boy & you want to be a boy. Make yoru voice deep & try and be rough about things. This is wrong. You need to explain this situation with your mother. I'm a twelve year old girl. Don't worry,you won't become a girl. No matter how much hair you grow out and how much make up you have to apply...people will still recognize you as a boy. But don't let your mother do this to you. You were born to be a boy. If she wants you to become a girl, talk it out with her. Make her understand that all because she wants to have a girl doesn't mean that she has to make her own son a female. My dad always wanted a boy, but he wouldn't make me wear boy undies and cut my hair short or make me look like one. In fact, I don't look like one at all. I have female looks and you have male looks. Nothing can change that. Please please please talk this out with your mother. Do you live with your mother? You can talk it out with your father but try not to get your parents in a fight. That's all I can say to help you...

wow--talk to your mom about personal space and how you should be able to be whoever you want to be, but if she is still telling u that u would have to leave-- bunk in with a close friend if it is ok...you have to talk to your mom and let it all out tell her how you are feeling and how this isnt fair for you and she should respect your decisionz! I feel really bad for you but maybe your mother could have another baby and have it be a girl. Or you can move out to a friend's house or relative's house and be your own person and be a guy.

Yes you do have a choice, go to one of your closest relatives and explain to them what is happening. Your mother needs help. If you are a boy thats you. She shouldn't make you change your sex just because she wants a little girl, tell her to go and adopt one or to have one of her own. Don't be scared.

Run away. Get on a bus and just keep going. Your mom is nuts and you need to get away from her. Once your in a different state contact the local child services and let them help you.

Talk to your counselor at school and tell him/her what is going on at home. This is not normal behavior. Don't worry about getting your mother in trouble. She needs help and so do you.. Do you have any family members you can talk to and stay with?
