For its good things:
History, works of art, medieval towns, awesome nature, cooking in its whole (pasta, pizza, etc.), friendly and cheerful people, Ferrari cars, fashion stylists, nice language (helped by our continuous hands movement), Neapolitan tarantella and dialectal songs (with mandolinos), family's tightness and care (included men's moms dependence, in my opinion not a defect),
For its bad things :
Mafia and its derivations, corruption in the State, emigration,
men's moms dependence (a defect in other people's opinion).

aside from pizza and spaghetti which everyone knows, Italia has some of the most interesting old ruins in Rome and Pompeii. Beautiful Venice. Great operas in the summer in the open in Verona. The Vatican's museum and church plus the small chapel painted by Michael Angelo. It is a very beautiful country. Do not miss Florence. Milan is a city very much like New York but without the huge buildings. Nothing much to see on the east coast where I lived for 2 1/2 years.
