My best friend in the entire world, doesn't believe in ghosts, but if she were me she would. my grandparents were really close to me, and they soon died a couple years ago. they still protect me in spirit. i know who they are, and i know they only want to protect me, but how can i be afraid of my own grandparents? i know that i have to face my fears, but im scared to. no one knows what i have been through, i am liturally crying right now, i love them dearly, and wish they were here right now, but when they come in spirit, i get scared, and wonder if i would ever be able to contact them, and when i say something, can they understand what i say? do they know what i mean when i say i love them and miss them? please help! what do i do? how do i know if they still love me, even though they're no longer here? Hey Leah! I've been where you are, so I'm speaking from experience! The reason you are afraid, is because they are NOT your Grandparents spirits! They are demons, who disguise themselves AS your grandparents. And for the very purpose you are allowing to deceive you. You need to command the devils to leave now in The Name of Yeshua(Hebrew), that is, Jesus the Messiah! And if you are serious about being free permanently, ask Yeshua, Jesus to come into your heart, confess that you have sinned and receive His forgiveness, He will cleanse you from all unrighteousness, then ask Him to fill you with His Precious Holy Spirit, He will lead and guide you into all truth. Get your Bible out, or purchase an easy to read one(NIV or ERV version is good to start) Find a Contemporary Christian radio station and TURN IT ON! Evil and sin can't stand in The presence of worship to God!! Their scared to death of The Name of Jesus, so use it Now! They are appearing because you are entertaining them, so stop now! Paul in the scriptures said,"To be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord! It is given to man once to die, then comes the judgment! (Hebrews 9:27) And in Isaiah 8:19-22, says; When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? To the Law and The Testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, they have NO light of dawn. Distressed and hungry, they roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God. Then they will look toward the earth and will see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness..So, you Leah are allowing the occult into your presence whether you we're aware of it or not....The Word of God is Spirit, and it is Life!! Well, some people believe in spirits and some don't. I definately believe in them. My stepdad used to open doors and walk around the house after he died, and we had a ghost in our trailer where we used to live.His name was Clayton and he was really cool. He lived in our closet. I knew he was there b/c the trailer burned down before we lived there and the closet was always cold. And my grandpa used to yank on my grandma's toe. She knew it was him b/c he was a cab driver in his life, and the man was wearing a cab driver uniform! And I took a pic of an orb in our room a few weeks ago.
Take comfort in it, and if you want, just tell them that you love them when you feel them. It's ok, not like you're crazy or anything, but make sure that it's just between you and them. No one else has to hear and make judgement.

Are you afraid becasuse deep down you think they are here to get you? About facing your fear, talk with God about it and ask for what you need. Yes they can hear you why wouldn't they still love you just because they went to the other side. Next time they come try telling them to go toward the light.

If you know they are around, then in theory you should be able to communicate with them. They loved you so much...now they need to understand that they are scaring you.
Next time you feel their presence, take a deep breath and just talk to them. Tell them you love them and miss them, but that they are making you uncomfortable. Tell them you think it is wonderful that they want to protect you, but that you don't want to be afraid of them. They need to show their love for you now by moving on and giving you some space.

maybe you should contact a psychologist first.
and about them loving you:
haven't your grandparents loved you all your life? imagine them in that room with you. Would they like to see you in tears, afraid of them? my grandparents and i are connected at the hip. i still have not gotten over their death. but think: if you were like this for the rest of your life, how would you feel? like your life was wasted? u dont have to go on and completely forget about your grandparents.

Sounds like you need to talk to someone about this that will take you seriously and will genuinely try to help you. You could try saying out loud that you are not ready to face them in their spirit form but let them know you love them and miss them.

i dont know if what ever you are seeing are your grandparents but im sure where ever they are now they still love you im sorry i cant comfort you more but i hope you feel better

face your fears, and your grandparents. you cant live in fear forever, especially in fear of people who obviously love you enough to speak to you from beyond the grave. good luck ;)

2. If you are hearing/seeing strange things, it's you.
3. If that's the case, you should go to a psychiatrist.
