Trim your hair often to rid it of split ends. Unfortunately, there is no miracle remedy for split ends, and those are what keep your hair from getting longer because the hair follicle is trying to repair itself, rather than grow. Only use a comb on your hair when it's wet, (working from the tips of your hair upward, of course) and a soft tipped bristle brush for dry hair. Hair growth/length is also genetic, and could potentially stop growing at six inches. On average, your hair will grow two inches per month, and more slowly during winter months.

Dont cut ur hair oftenly or improperly. cut split ends every 10 wks. comb hair twice daily Henna can be used once a month to thicken hair. If you don't want the reddish tint of henna, try using neutral henna. It's a great conditioner and also has amla, brahmi and jatamansi, all rich in protein,With the neutral henna you just have to mix it with tap water, this should be used as often as possible. If there are any skin problems on your scalp the henna or neutral henna will both help fight it
• They might make your bathroom messy but natural ingredients like amla and shikakai are recommended by experts to give your hair that extra bounce and softness
Coconut has keshya properties -- that is, it improves hair quality. In Southern India, women apply coconut oil to their hair every day-which gives them long, lustrous locks.take coconut oil and massage your head with it every night.Heat coconut oil and apply on the scalp, the night before you shampoo.

No shampoo will make your hair grow. You can try taking Biotin, a B vitamin. I've heard it really works. You can get it at Walmart or any drugstore that sells vitamins.
