I need to lose some extra pounds. A friend told me about Ephedrine, does anyone know anything about it?

Ephedrine is actually a medication for respiratory function. Ephedra is the good stuff. Unfortunately, Ephedra is banned and off the market now. 2 years ago I lost 40 lbs. on Ephedra. I absolutely loved it. Yes it did give me all the side effects that everyone warns you about but I knew that it could. When the FDA took it off the market they gave our local stores 90 to get it off the shelves. I went and bought every bottle of Stacker 3 that I could find. Ephedrine actually works the same way but I don't think it's as potent. I had my daughter a year ago and tried using Ephedrine to take off the baby weight. It didn't work. However if you can find Ephedra any where. . . let me know (I hear they're gonna market it again in some states).

Stay away from it! I've taken it a few times with different weight loss pills and they all had the same effect on me....rapid heartbeat and a feeling of nervousness and unease. Same goes with anything with Ma Huang in it also. They are virtually the same drugs. They are both meant to speed up your metabolism to help you burn more calories, but trust me, the feeling of your heart racing when you're just sitting still is scary. I even know a guy who was taking Stacker 2's for a while who ended up having a heart attack at age 21 because of the Ephedrine levels in the pills.

The drugs, I believe have been outlawed over the years, so you finding something that contains either might be a little difficult too. Most of the original weight loss pills (Xenadrine for one) have gone to an Ephedrine free version due to FDA regulations over the last few years.

If you want to lose the weight, work out. It's not that hard to do. You don't even need a gym, just go for a walk or run or even a swim. You don't need supplements to help you lose weight if you do it the right way.

STAY AWAY FROM IT!!! It's too addictive. Even the so-called "natural" alternative, ma huang, is not good. Stick to a product like Trim Spa x33 - you saw what it did for Anna Nicole!!!
