Yes there is a girl that is you r friend never kisses you but a girl that is your girlfriend stares at you emotionally and kisses you until your face is cover in human saliva.

On line girlfriends-go to chat rooms or something like that.A friend is different from a girlfriend-a girlfriend is someone you commit to on a personal and individual basis,someone whom you like and get personal with.Normally you don't kiss and hug or sleep with your friend-girls unless she is into that a friend with benefits type thing-no strings attached.So yes there is a major difference in the personal relationship and commitment level.

I think you should start by asking yourself why you're not comfortable meeting someone or having a relationship in person.
If you're shy then the internet is a good place to start and build confidence. There are lots of dating sites out there but you're better off responding to ads than posting your own. Just keep in mind there's about 10 guys for every girl on those sites so you have to stand out.

online dating is not safe. your online "girlfriend" might be who she says she is, but she might be a stalker or someone dangerous.
yes there is a difference between a girlfriend and a friend. a friendship is when you are just friends, you are nice to each other and do things for each other, but you don't have a romantic relationship. a "girlfriend" is similar to a friend, but she is a special friend who you have a romantic relationship with.

yea. a gf is someone who u go on dates with and make out with. a friend is just someone u talk with and have fun with.
