All i have found online is snacks for preschoolers! help! - I hate corned-beef so please don't suggest that! i want a COLD appetizer because my friends and I will be in a hotel and the room has no microwave. i would like something to help soak up alcohol- haha- but it is not a requirement.

all i can think of is spinach dip, or sugar cookies with green icing.

Pistachio Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 C. club soda
2 boxes instant pistachio pudding
1/4 C. vegetable oil
1 lb. white pistachio nuts (walnuts or pecans will work), lightly toasted and crushed
1-1/2 C. milk
1 envelope of powdered whipping cream

Mix in bowl the cake mix, eggs, club soda, 1 box of the pudding, oil, and 1/2 cup of the nuts. Mix well and bake in a greased and floured bundt or tube cake pan for 45 minutes at 325°F. Cake is done when a long toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on a rack for 10 minutes. Completely cool on rack. When cool, place cake on serving plate and completely cover with the below icing.

Icing: Mix 1-1/2 cups milk, with instant whipped topping, and 1 box instant pistachio pudding. Mix on low to combine and then on high for 4 minutes. Fold in nuts and spread on cooled cake.

Hiya! Firstly you could make a sponge cake and while its still uncooked, put loads of Green food couloring in it. frost it white with little green dots. Serve it up with green ice cream. to make hte green ice cream, beat up some plain vanila icecream and when it is nice and soft, add as much or as litle green food couloringn as you like. For the drinks: Take a blender and some vanila icecream and some green food couloring in it, blend it till its at a shake sor of consistensy, pour into large glases and bob's ur uncle!

HURUBUSCO, 1848 - Stir juice of six oranges, six medium size eggs, one pint of fresh cream (and, if Irish, add whiskey from County Mayo), one-quarter pound of brown sugar, and one musket ball quantity of cinnamon or nutmeg powder as to your taste. Pour mixture into pot or kettle that can be hung
over a slow fire made of dry animal dung. Stir contents until thick. Take off fire. Add one-half spoonful of good butter and work this mix until it is cold. This Mexican-American War entree is named 'ORANGE FOOL'. Because this dish was made on the march to Mexico City the reader is challenged to make it outside the hotel (assuming dung and fire are not too hard for the St. Patty's Irish).

You could make spinach wraps. You use a spinach tortilla(green) and you put cream cheese and whatever kind of meat you like. You can also put pepper jack cheese (my fave) and lettuce. then you just roll them up and cut them so you have little spiral sandwiches. they are very good.
