I once found one where they played some notes, you guessed which ones you thought they were, and it told you if you were right. I'm also interested in sites that'll just play notes one at a times so that I can hear the differences. Also, I'm interested in any sites that give techniques for improving your scales and hitting certain notes. Maybe there're some that let you choose the note you want to play so that you can work on just that one...?

I'm new to this, so any help would be appreciated. I've got a poor ear, but I want to improve it and don't really have the time or money for professional lessons.

Here are a couple that I've found. I use them with educating my vocal students:
http://www.musictheory.net/
http://www.teoria.com

They also teach basic music theory. If you want to find more sites, I would suggest doing a basic search with music theory in quotations.

You should ask in the relationship section, not the video game section. You'll get more answers. But I think there aren't any good free dating sites, and ones that shout free all over their site are shady.

Here's a site where you can listen to the intervals and practice identifying them. (Be sure to sing them as they are played so you strengthen your aural recognition ability)...

http://www.good-ear.com/servlet/EarTrainer

There are other good free sites out there. Try doing a search for "intervals" or "ear training" to find one that works best for you.
