Question to help the homeless?

This is a serious question as homlessness is a serious problem.

I would like and appreciate comments and ideas that would help the homeless. I am looking for areas that are deeper then some of the help that is out there allready.

Any help or ideas is much appreciatted!

There are several things you can do to directly to make a difference. In order to do something, you must first get involved. I suggest you start by contacting your local volunteer center. They can find specific volunteer projects for you, and they can also provide you with contacts at specific non-profit agencies in your area that specialize in the area of homelessness, such as shelters, food banks, and so forth.

If there is no volunteer cener in your immediate area, you might also try the United Way, as they can also connect you with different non-profit organizations.

Through my volunteer center, I have worked at shelters where we feed the homeless on a regular basis.

Well: according to "Homeless Shelter you can Donate Foods
towards them yes & each 1 Community being Builded from
our Group of Volunteers help also directly for those people too" visit Catholic Church Charites Orginization !

Once a week but a bunch of sandwiches and water and distribute them to random homeless people. That is a good start.

people are homeless for a reason dont feel sorry for a bum on the streets of a developed country they may be a childmolester or a hopeless druggie.on the other hand 3rd world homeless people need our help they are born without a home

give them a shower, a hair cut, a new set of clothes and help them get together a resume and then line up some job interviews for them. maybe make a charity building where they can go that will do that for them.
