GO TO RADIO SHACK! Tell them the problem and they will tell you exactly what you need to do to record the phone calls.
If you dont already have caller id, be sure to have that installed (you can have the stalker pay you back for that when you request restitution). Also call the phone company. They have a service where you can block calls from any private number that way you will know instantly where the calls are coming from.
Once the calls are being recorded, you can take them to the police station for solid proof against the wacko. It will be easy for the prosecutor to convict him and your itty bitty bit of work might cost him a year in jail.
GOOD LUCK
p.s. Once you are sure you are recording....try to keep him on the phone as long as you can. Be sure to say into the phone how terrified you are and be sure to make crying noises in the phone as you beg him to pleeeeeeease leave you alone.
(will sound great in court)

Enlist the help of your phone company and possibly change your number which might be done at no charge due to the circumstances. Be sure and get the names of every person you speak to in case this ever goes to court. And above all, report it to the officer who is covering the case each time you get a call. Good luck!!

you do no longer likely have faith that when he stated he'd beat your head in that he became heavily threatening your existence, do you? you could request a restraining order, which will possibly only pi$$ him off extra. Sue for emotional misery? provide it a relax. you're unlikely to win that one. ok, he's an a$$ - yet he has the spectacular to fire you if he desires to, and no you haven't any longer have been given any recourse.

Well if you have already made a report then talk to your phone provider and see if they can track it down, and also get a recording device and when they start talking tell them they are being recorded.

Do you know who the person is? If so, why not beat the crap out of them and tell them to knock it off... or put sugar in their gas tank or something..
