What would be a rough estimate to have a typical wooden fence to surround 3 sides of a 1/4 acre lot?

I want to have some idea so that when I hire a contractor I am a little in the know. :)
Fence would be abt 4-5 ft tall with very little gaps for privacy

About $10.00 to $12.00 per linear foot should do it... all in, labour and materials.
