Yes, if you dry and compact it into a brick you will have a source of heat when you burn it.

Biomass can be plant material and animal waste that's dried, compacted and used as fuel or it can simply refer to the total mass of living matter in a specific area (often the whole world).

I'm not really sure what you're asking here. If it's material for fuel then you can do this yourself or you can come and pick up a load of dried cow poop from the field in front of my house (it's been raining all day so won't be dry any more, best leave it for now).

If by 'biomass' you're meaning things like peat then you can buy this from gas stations, farm suppliers, general stores in remote areas and some home improvement stores.
