One of my best friends and I have been heading in the direction of dating. It's like we're going out but not officially, you could say. My best friend gets really mad at him whenever she sees him give me a note or hug me or even just talk to me out of nowhere. I feel like I can't say anything about him around her and like I can't tell her about anything. I hate keeping secrets from her but I don't want to get into another argument. I wan't to take it further but I don't want to ruin our relationship in the long run or the relationship with my other friend. Please help me...

Time for your insecure friend to grow up. Tell her just because you would like to spend time with a bf it doesn't mean you would be spending all your time with him. Convince her how much you value her friendship and you definitely want to continue spending time with her, too. Don't let any one person EVER monopolize all your time. Although, she doesn't realize it she is being unfair to you. She will have a bf one day and then will understand how you feel. Are her and this boy friends? It would be good to include her from time to time when you see him. And when you do this don't ignore her. Treat her as you would want to be treated. Don't hide anything from her. When she finds out it will be SO much worse. Ask her to be happy for you. Tell her you'd like to double date with a friend of his and her, if you can arrange it. If you are honest and explain things and make time for her, she should be okay with it.
