I have to explain about this girl though. Shes this pretty typical girl. Kind of a hippe/punk, a little over weight... kind of an outcast/a wonderer; but still attractive enough not to be ugly. She's one of the gang of people you and all of your friends hang out with occasionally. If she's totally down with a one night stand and keeping hush about it would you do it? And if you did what would you think of her? Would you tell your friends? Would you try again after?
And then all those ?'s again but if you were going out with someone?

It eventually gets talked/bragged about, but there should be a decent interval of time first.
Heck, I eventually told my roommate I'd slept with his sister, but it took me many years after we'd lived together to get around to doing so.
Now, if you're trying to figure out how to do it without terrible reputational consequences, the answer is to find a guy who you really trust, who you don't see as insecure, and who you do see as articulate and well-spoken. NOTHING can totally avert the risk that he blabs. So mainly, try to pick a guy who, IF he blabs, will do so in a way that makes you look good.
