When I talk to someone online that I "like" I always get that feeling like "they say they're 16 but what if there 40!?"
Do you feel the same way when talking to someone online?

well i rarely date online because of that! and even if u date someone online with a webcam and he/she is nice and good loockin is way better havin a real date! in matter of fact datin online is nothing compared to normal dating!

You know what there are some SIXTEEN year old perverts out there too. They're not all 40. But anyway I was seriously considering it at one point, And in my opinion, ppl choose to date on the internet when they're love life is boring, idle, or sucky.
If you had someone in real life (or happy with being single) why would you turn to the Internet? You can't really establish a relationship by staring at a screen.

Internet dating is a joke. You can't get toknow someone by talking to them online. You never if their telling the truth of telling you what you want to hear. And like you said people lie about their age online.

To me, it's a joke. More often than not, if I "meet" someone online, we e-mail for a while, have phone conversations, and it goes straight to **** on the first date. I'd rather go out and actually meet people in real life; it's not as easy to pretend that they don't exist.

Yes. because you seriously never know who you can trust nowadays. it's just the way the world is now. i have talked to some Really amazing guys.. but i still wonder in the back of my mind. you can never be too sure.. that's what sucks about online...

My opinoin on online dateing is ok if you dont know who it as if they have a web camm or if you can meet them somewhere just if you meet them be sure to bring a friend k

no, but you have to be a little careful, i find people in there the same as the general public. most of them are very nice but some are not.

well, if i'm going to do the whole online dating, then they better have a webcam, because unless i'm SURE of how old they are, i ain't gonna 'date' them.
