My hubby and I are TTC and two weeks ago I was diagnosed with poly-systic ovarian syndrome. I skipped 5 periods in a row, and then they brought one on with progesterone therapy. Now I am not due for another peiod until 3/25, but yesterday I started spotting redish pink blood and today it was brown. Could I just have a short cycle now, or is there a possibility I'm preggers? My nipples are a little sore and I've been getting cramps and heatrburn and nausea. Any info would help. Thanks in advance!!!

Hi I have PCOS too. I dont know if I am much help but I found information on it searching the web. I do know from what I experience is that I do get nausea and cramps for it. I have had mine for 8 yrs. I have been able to have kids. My PCOS is I have the periods on time but mine go for 7 plus days of heavy bleeding. I have cramps all month long( my doc has found cysts on both my ovaries) With this I also have grown hair on my face and arms . And losing my eyebrows and lashes. My face and hair are always oily. It makes your body all out of whack. If you can search the web I did google.com for my questions. And you might have break through bleeding. Last week I started my threatment I had my tubes tied so I could have a procedure done where the removed the lining of my uterus so hopefully I wont have anymore periods, and my doctor plans on putting me on pills to balance me out. I dont know how much information your doctor gave you mine really didnt give me much but I found that theres alot that I needed to know. A few things I read was the risk for diabetes and uterus cancer are higher with it. I was screened for cancer when my ultrasound for my cystic on my ovaries. I let mine go for 8 yrs. I know now how serious it is at the time I really didnt give it much thought. If you cant find anything on the web let me know ill look. take care Judes

Do a pregnancy test, hopefully it is positive. If not, the main things that will help PCOS is exercise and a good diet, with not a lot of refined sugars and starches. Lots of fruit and veggies and lean meats. If you are overweight, even losing about 20 pounds can help regulate periods. Good luck

Do an at home preg test. Good luck, I wish you all the best.

As for the PCOS, eat really well and do some light exercising. That will help with getting preg and the PCOS.

PCOS is often accompanied by irregular menstrual cycles-it's possible that your cycle is simply not regular at the moment, and so you're having a period now. It's also possible that you're ovulating, which sometimes can cause spotting.

I think you are pregant if you are experiencing those symptoms. Are you on clomid because if you are some of those symptoms can be caused from clomid
